I was given free reign over which part of the interviews were included, with the proviso that Peter Birtwhistle, the client’s chief designer, take precedent over the other two interviewees.
I selected what I felt were the most important and interesting parts of each interview, then grouped them all together by subject to create a flowing narrative.
I was tasked with designing and producing all lower-third motion graphics, which I based on the client’s animated logo after extensive research into their branding.
The client requested subtitles for parts of the interview that may have been difficult to understand for English-speakers due to a heavy accent. I chose yellow since it is easier to discern and read, as well as avoiding confusion with the already-white lower-third graphics.
