This was a two-week job on-site in Barcelona, Spain, with a crew from Blackball Media.
I was asked to post-produce all B-Roll and media releases in the first weekend as the footage came in, be on-hand throughout the week for fast turnaround edits if required, and to collate footage shot over the launch period into a single round-up video.
I was tasked with post-producing all the footage live from ingesting to logging to editing to export. This included colour grading and motion graphic design. I did a lot of research prior to the job on the company’s brand identity to ensure I would represent it as accurately as possible as quickly as possible.
Each B-Roll was a successful same-day turnaround, and following that success the client asked for a loop video set to music intended for journalists arriving at the airport.
I selected an appropriate music track and created the loop video, adding an electric-blue ‘wave’ graphic, similar to the graphics that has been created for the event.
The launch was a huge success, and the client was exceptionally happy with the results.
The client thought the airport loop video so successful that they used it as a background throughout the formal presentations and in the exhibition hall.
